- What happens when I visit the school? Can I bring my child?
- During curriculum meetings (Pre-K and Kindergarten) there are presentations on both the French and Montessori curriculum. Following the presentation, parents will have an opportunity to ask questions about the French Curriculum, Montessori Curriculum or the admissions process. Our French and Montessori Directors will both be available for curriculum questions. Our Admissions Director will be available to answer questions about the admissions process.
- During the school visit/observation (1st – 8th grade applicants), you will have time to observe in a classroom for about 20-30 minutes. Following the classroom visit, there will be an informational session with an opportunity to ask questions about the program and/or the application process. Children are NOT allowed during the classroom observation visit.
- What if I can’t visit the school?
- An understanding of the unique curriculum you are considering for your child is an important part of the process. In order for parents to be fully informed about the program, attendance at a Curriculum Meeting (Pre-K and Kindergarten) or a school visit (1st – 8th grade) is required. If you are unable to attend, you can have a family member attend on your behalf. If no one attends the observation, your application will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.
- I am applying to Pre-K or Kindergarten and I want to visit the school and observe in a classroom BEFORE I make a decision about the program.
- Applicants applying for Pre-K and Kindergarten are required to attend a Curriculum meeting. These meetings will have photos and video of an actual classroom. This will give parents an idea of how learning takes place in the classroom, without actually disturbing classrooms.
If your child is selected for acceptance you will have an opportunity to observe in an actual classroom prior to accepting placement in the program.
- What are the criteria for Admission to the School?
- The criteria are different for the French School and the Montessori School.
- French School

- You need to contact the Office of Vital Records to replace the Birth certificate. A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate with the application is required.
