Applications for the 2009-10 now available to download
2009-10 Admissions Process
Begin by completing the application packet. Please read the application carefully and be sure to give plenty of time to collect all the necessary documents required to complete your application.
Please ensure that you include a copy of each required document listed on the application with your application as incomplete applications will not be accepted. The school cannot make copies of your original documents.
Submit the completed application to the Carrollton Campus office located at 719 S. Carrollton Avenue. Applications will be accepted in person between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, except on days when school is closed.
Hand delivered applications must be received by 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2008 in order to be considered on-time. All applications after that date and time are considered late. Please note, all mailed applications must be postmarked no later than January 6, 2009.
Applicants for Pre-K and Kindergarten are required to attend a Curriculum meeting. Parents will attend a presentation by the Montessori & French Directors, followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
Appointments for parents of 1st - 8th grade appilcants to visit a classroom are scheduled at the time you submit your application. Following the classroom visit, there will be an informational session for parents to have an opportunity to ask questions about the program and/or the application process. Classroom visits are by appointment only. Children are not allowed during this visit.
A lottery will be held on February 12, 2009. Attendance is not necessary. Letters of acceptance will be mailed from the Admissions office on March 6th, 2009. To accept an applicant's placement, the letter of acceptance must be returned to the school by March 20, 2009.
Registration at school on May 14th 2009 completes a new student's admissions process. Documentation showing proof of residency in Orleans parish is required at registration.
