Benjamin W. Comer graduated from Baylor University in 1993 with a BSE in Math. He then taught high school in Dallas, TX and Patterson, LA. He led church youth programs at First Assembly of God in Leesville, LA, and Christian Life Center in Kenner, LA from 1995 through 2002. Starting in 1997 he volunteered with Next Generation Ministries at East Jefferson High School and Bonnabel High School. Then in 2002 Benjamin became the Executive Director of Next Generation Ministries and began its expansion from four schools to its current size of twenty public schools in Jefferson, Orleans, St. Tammany and St. Charles Parishes. Benjamin is a skilled leader in building coalitions to facilitate and finance these programs. |
