Carlos Luis Zervigón (Chairman of the Board) is a graduate of the New Orleans Public Schools and Tulane University where he earned his high school teaching certification and a BA in History. 

Carlos taught social studies at Benjamin Franklin High School for six years while earning his masters in history from UNO. He was a member of the Board of Trustees of the NOCCA Institute for six years and has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the RosaMary Foundation since 1998. 

Carlos is also a sculptor working primarily in glass.  He has a BFA in Glass from Tulane University.  His work has been shown in such cities as New Orleans, New York, Seattle, Portland, Oregon and Santa Fe.  Carlos was a cofounder of the New Orleans Creative Glass Institute (NOCGI) and served as its President and CEO.  For the last fifteen years, Carlos has been an active volunteer at Audubon serving on both the Admissions Committee and the Principal Search Committee.  All six of Carlos’ children have attended or are attending Audubon Charter School.
