Board of Directors - FAME, Inc.

The board of French and Montessori Education, Inc. (FAME, Inc.), the governing board of Audubon Charter School, generally meets the fourth Saturday of every month except in July & August. The meetings are held at the Broadway campus starting at 10:00 AM. They are open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Watch for the agenda to be posted at all of the school gates by the morning of the Friday before the meeting.

Board Members

The board consists of no less that 3 and no more than 15 members. Members are elected to the board for renewable one-year terms by a majority of the board. Two members are elected by the Audubon parents (one from the French program, one from the Montessori) by a majority of the parents in an election supervised by the Friends of Audubon PTO.
The French Consul General of New Orleans is an automatic member of the board. The rest of the board seats are occupied by community members.
