Dr. Linda Blakley Dr. Linda Blakley is the Director for Student Academic Performance and Support in the College of Pharmacy at Xavier University. In this role, she is responsible for developing and implementing academic initiatives to address student progression. She is also the course coordinator for Pharmacy Skills Lab I, a health and social science informatics course required for first-year pharmacy students.
Dr. Blakley earned a BS in Computer Information Systems and a MA in Counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana. Subsequent graduate work was completed at the University of New Orleans where she earned a M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Education - Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in educational technology. Her research interests include both faculty and student induction and the effective use of technology in the classroom.
Dr. Blakley has served on the Board of Directors for the YWCA and currently serves on the Ruby Bridges Foundation (Louisiana) Board of Directors.
