Wynn Seemann has been a Montessori teacher and administrator for over thirty years.  She earned a graduate degree in Speech Pathology with Teacher Certification from Southern Methodist University and received her Montessori Teacher Certification from the American Montessori Association in 1978. 

As a master teacher, Wynn taught Philosophy in an American Montessori Association teacher-training program in New Orleans for 10 years.   As a classroom teacher, Wynn taught in two Montessori schools in Texas before moving to New Orleans where she co-founded Uptown Montessori School with Martha Kabacoff. 

From 1986 to 1991, Wynn founded and directed a Montessori School for a Presbyterian Church in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.  As the school leader, she reported to a board of trustees.  Wynn also served on the board of Coast Episcopal School in Pass Christian, Mississippi for ten years, chairing the education committee for seven years.  As a former school leader and board member, Wynn brings extensive experience in independent school governance to Audubon Charter School.
