School Life

An Audubon education offers not only strong academics, but also a wide selection of activities that enhance our student's artistic, physical and intellectual capabilities.

The arts are incorporated into both the Montessori and the French curricula. After school classes for creative students are also available. Students' creative endeavors are showcased regularly and with two major events in the spring, Evening at the Riverbend and Celebration of the Arts.

In addition to our physical education classes, Audubon has many after-school sports opportunities. In the lower grades, these are integrated into our after-school classes, offering activities such as dance, karate, and yoga. Team sports are offered for 4th grade - 8th grade.

School outings are planned as an extension of the academic program and an important opportunity to experience a variety of activities and to interact with the environment and the community.

An atmosphere of rich, cultural diversity is celebrated by all of Audubon's Rare Birds though themes, school visitors, and school-wide activities.
